John Schulten
As CEO, John leads the general and financial management of the company, oversees client relationships and develops the company's growth strategy. He has helped major corporations worldwide with technology strategy and implementation, licensing and collaboration agreements, operational efficiency and change management.
Previously at Accenture, Nortel Networks and Cap Gemini / Bossard. John holds a Bachelor's degree from Yale University, an MBA from NYU's Stern School of Business, and has studied at HEC.

Muriel Thouvenin, PhD
As Chief Scientific Officer, Muriel leads the company's Technology Assessment Group, the heart of the company, and oversees client relationships. She has extensive experience in technology intelligence and assessment across Personal Care, Green Chemistry and Packaging, in Open Innovation improvement programs and new product development for major R&D groups.
Muriel holds a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Paris XII, France. She was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Tokyo for two years, working on micelles for drug delivery to fight cancer.
My team is made up of PhD technology scouts with expertise in chemistry and biology, open innovation experts who use creativity to solve our clients' R&D challenges.
Alla Malinenko
As Vice President, Alla is in charge of the company's operations, New Business Development, and formulating our strategic vision. In her career at TechScout, she has advised clients across a wide range of industries including Personal Care, Food & Beverage and Oil & Gas, and bridged the worlds of academia, startups, and industry. Alla is passionate about transforming cutting-edge science and innovations into real-world applications across diverse chemistry-related industries.
Alla holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of Bordeaux with an expertise in soft matter, colloids, organic self-assembly, and supramolecular interactions.
What I love about our work is that creativity is the engine, we don't accept 'no existing solution' as an answer. We mine science broadly, connect the unexpected, and turn frontier technologies into real answers for our clients.
